My name is Shantosh Karki and I am from Nepal. I have been working as an International GIS Consultant for various organizations in East Africa, Middle East and South Asia. My duties and responsibility include focus on contributing to information products, habitat mapping, resource mapping, disaster mapping, livelihood zonal maps etc. Also, I am serving as vice president of Go Green Nepal (www.gogreennepal.org.np ), which works in environmental conservation sector in Nepal, under which I have been doing a bird conservation project funded by Rufford Small Grant. Academically, I possess a master’s degree in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management, 2013 Philippines and a master’s degree in Environmental Science (wildlife Management) from Tribhuvan University, 2009 Nepal.
